And so it begins...

After reading my best friend’s updates religiously I have decided to embark on this thing called blogging..

Hello my name is April I am a 25 year old mother of five (1 is biological and 4 I will be inheriting when I get married), student, medical auditor that spends her time studying and watching junk food reality television. I spend quite a bit of time alone as my significant other has started travelling with his job; this is almost a godsend as I tend to get grouchy when the school year comes around. Speaking of, that wonderful time is upon us once more and it looks like this one is off to a bumpy start as is every year it seems. I have been pursuing my degree off and on (more often off until recently) for the least five years and it seems like the last two semesters before my Associates is complete will be a complete doozy. While I do understand that the fact that I have spread two years worth of learning into five is confusing to the naked eye I have had a really hard time nailing down exactly what I want to do, and have every major from Cosmetology to Sociology. I finally narrowed it down to getting my Associates in Criminal Justice and my Bachelors in Medical Administration (which may not exist but I seem to find myself in medical professions and I figure I should get the degree and learn to adore it).
I have been fighting with this impossible Financial Aid representative who has religiously not answered emails and voicemails. I finally was able to convince her supervisor not once but twice that I needed some additional assistance as I live over eight hours away from campus and it is impossible for me drop everything and drive down there to inquire as to why it is taking them so long to process my student loans (I find it funny that my grants were processed in May and yet my loan wasn’t processed until August 10th). So now that I have that squared away I asked that she turn in my book voucher (something she has done in previous semesters) and she agrees, I do my part by calling the bookstore last week to get my order boxed and ready for the voucher. I wait, and wait, and finally call today well shockingly enough (do I really need to point out sarcasm?) the voucher has sat on the bookstore manager’s desk since Monday because she couldn’t get a hold of me to get my order correct. The girl I spoke to today was incredibly confused as the box was sitting literally right next to the voucher and the manager was unable to put it together. So now they are FINALLY being shipped today.. hopefully.. wait a minute I haven’t gotten an email with the tracking number.. and class starts on Monday.
Ggggrrrrreeeaaatt….

Now I won’t bore you further I will leave tomorrow for more exciting things like Pandora Radio, customer service reps that do not speak English, and global warming.
